ISN'T LIFE SWEET

Notice there is no question mark after the post title.  That's because it's meant to be a statement.  Now some of you may disagree, heck I may argue this on some days myself.

Where am I going with this?  Well, I want to dedicate this post to Nicki at Sweet Parrish Place.  She just celebrated her 1 year Blogiversary. Now, that's SWEET!

I like to give credit where credit is due. She has a fantastic blog full great ideas, great commentary, great design.  Just all around a really good blog.

Sweeten up your life, head over to:

SUSTAINABLE ENTHUSIASM JUST FOR YOU!

How do you maintain sustainable enthusiasm for starting and completing your projects?  For me it's most definitely perusing the internet and reading blogs. My curiosity and desire to learn is fulfilled just by going online.  I get to visit people from all over the world without leaving my house.  It's quite magical if you think about it.

Reading and finding new blogs sustains my enthusiasm to be creative and handy. They are a constant source for getting inspired and educating myself.

Here are some posts that I hope will help you sustain your enthusiasm to make and recreate!

This post will make you want to make your own shelf's:

A Pallet Wall.  This is just plain awesome - love this.  This cost a whopping $20. Might as well start collecting your pallets now:

Got wood?  Fall decor that couldn't be any easier. Just head outside to find your centerpiece.

Sometimes you never know what you may stumble upon. Like this holder for charging your cell phone.  So inventive.  Come on, you know you want to make one.

So when your lacking that motivation needed to get you going, all you need to do is hop on your computer.  Allow it to aid you in branching out and trying and learning new things.  Allow it to sustain your enthusiasm.

All my best!

HOW TO HANG FRAMES

  • Are you vertically and horizontally challenged?
  • Do you have numerous holes in your walls due to your inefficient wall hanging techniques?
  • What about those frames that are covering up those "darn it, they're uneven again" nail holes?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, don't be discouraged..... help is here!

I have found some spectacular advise, this will by no doubt, allow you to create the wall collage you've always dreamed of.  I know I'm not the only one who's dreamed of having visually appealing, knock your socks off wall collages of my family and framed art.

I myself, have tons of empty wall space just begging to be filled.  Reason being is that I have a hard time deciding what should go where.  My craft closet is being over taken by stuff just waiting to be hung.

Placement for me is my biggest challenge right now. What's your biggest challenge when it comes hanging frames?

Here are the Post Highlights:
  • Finding Balance
  • Asymmetrical Arrangements
  • Symmetrical with a Twist Arrangements
  • Leaning Art
  • Flush Left with Ragged Right Arrangements
  • How to use craft paper to assist with placement

I hope you enjoy!
